Ship to Sadness

Shape of heart
becomes square, though mind heals
in slow moves towards fitness curved.
The exponential aches may breathe
in time, my hands find reasons
for just being hands, though locked
eyes on screen I waste my day.
The disabled may find a Sun
in a word they speak, lovingly
they can too be free. Though me
I am not free, I am trapped in oars
that battle winds like misery.
